The York County Sheriff's Office Correctional Division is committed to providing safe, secure and humane care for our inmate population. The Corrections Division is charged with the care, custody and control of inmates that are being held at the York County Jail. The Jail can house up to 300 inmates.

       We are very proud of our employees and facility. Through the efforts of the men and women of the Corrections Division, our facility recently obtained accreditation from the National Commission on Correctional Health Care accreditation and a 99.2% rating from the Maine Department of Corrections.
